Makeup, Visual impairment and happiness?? // Q&A

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all well.

Today is the last day of July which means it has come to the end of my weekday daily blogging :(. If you didn’t know I was only blogging every weekday during the month of July so from next week on i will be returning to my usual blogging schedule which will be Wednesday and Sunday. I hope you’ve all enjoyed my posts during the month of July, i have certainly enjoyed writing them for you!

For today’s post i thought I’d do a Q&A for you all. I love Q&A’s as they allow me to interact with you all and also it allows you to get to know me a little better.

I asked on my instagram for some questions and recieved a good response so i hope you enjoy!

I’m really sorry if i don’t answer your question in this post but i will be doing another Q&A soon i’m sure.

Just to let you know that i have included a link to the instagram accounts of those who asked me a question, i stongly suggest you go take a look at their instagram as they all have amazing accounts!

Lets begin shall we?

1. plxntsoul asks : Favourite makeup brand?

Recently i have been really loving bourjois, i just feel like their products are such great quality at a reasonable price. I also love Rimmel especially their wake me up concealer.

2. floraltash asks : favourite thing to do in the summer?

I love going for walks in the summer! I also love spending time with my friends and family.

3. sprinkleoflouisax asks : one makeup item you can’t live without?

I have to say foundation (especially the bourjois healthy mix) This may come as a shock to some of you because a lot of people would seem to say mascara or something but i am very self consious of my skin therefore foundation is a must have for me!

4. katie_4703 asks : What age do you think is ‘acceptable’ to start wearing makeup?

I don’t actually have an answer for this one. I don’t feel like there is a specific age that you should be allowed to wear makeup. I personally started when i was 15 and even then i only wore powder but everyone is different. I feel like when you’re starting out maybe just go for a bit of powder and some clear mascara, don’t go over the top to start with.

5. ellaxo_mayxo asks : What is the hardest makeup/beauty item to apply as a visually impaired person?

I personally feel like the hardest product to apply is eyeshadow. Previously i thought it was foundation but at that point i hadn’t started wearing eyeshadow. I find it really hard to apply and i haven’t got the hang of it quite yet. I also find nail polish to be a hard product to apply.

6. floralbeautyxoxo asks : what is the hardest thing to do when you are visually impaired?

I don’t have a specific answer for this. A lot of things are hard to do as i’m visually impaired but i try to find ways to make those things easier. I would say that walking in crowded places is hard and also going some place dark as i have night blindness.

7. floral.diaries101 asks : What makes you happy and why?

Talking to my best friend makes me extremely happy as she always knows how to cheer me up. I also love spending time with my family as they are the most  important people in my life. I also love going on instagram as my followers (well actually i classify them all as friends) but they always make me smile and help cheer me up! I couldn’t ask for better followers!

8. perksofbeinglou_x asks : favourite movie and why?

I love ‘The fault in our stars’ as i think it’s such an inspirational/touching film. I loved every second of it!

9. florallianne asks : favourite accounts on instagram?

I have way to many!! This post would be way to long if i were to list them all!

I’m going to leave it there for today everyone. I hope you enjoyed today’s post. Let me know if you would like me to do these kind of posts more often.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend ! I will talk to you all next time.
